Hey everybody, DC was great and now I'm glad to be home.

Except that I can't seem to get a job and it is really annoying me, but anyway I've decided that have job or not I'm finally getting to making the comic forms of five of my stories. Three will be from my Fanfiction. net account [link] and two will be from my Fictionpress.com account [link]

I'm going to have a pole for one week on my Fanfiction.net account that will ask which stories you people would like to see in comic form, the top on each site will win. As for the other two I've already decided upon those. EX Titans [link] and Tsunami [link] are slated to be made into comics as well as Wandering Hero [link]

If you have yet to read them I encourage you do unless of course you don't want to spoil the comics. That's fine also. I will try to have the front covers for the three I've already decided upon done by the end of the poling period. The two selected by pole will be done near the end of the month. ^-^

Of course all this is based off of my production speed which will hopefully soon be greatly influenced by a job, but breaks are for doing this stuff. ^-^ Also I've picked up Oblivion agian, but that can only keep me busy for so long.

<> Poling will start at midnight tonight. <>

Well, I'm currently in DC now and I've got to say its nice. Nice in a way that you'd want to visit but not live here. I'm hoping that I can get in touch with a friend of mine while I'm here. Haven't seen him in a while.

Anyway onto the reason for this entry. I HATE AIRPORTS. They just aren't that efficient. To start off theirs the whole everything has to be scanned during security. Which actually isn't as bad as the other things, but you know. The next thing is the whole boarding precedure. It would make more sense to load the back of the plane first and then the front. But no it's loaded front to back so there is always a people pileup at the entrance to the plane. Lastly, their's baggage claim. It's just annoying to have a bunch of people, who possible aren't or weren't on your flight standing in the way of your ability to get your belongings.

I know not as flamboyant as me other rants but the hotel I'm staying at only has free internet in its cafe and I have alot to do before it closes. Fare well all.

So much that I can't concentrate

Well, finals are once agian upon me. Though not as vagrantly stressful as last semester when I was worrying about every little detail. No, instead most of my finals are take home things that I can take my time to work on a little bit. The only down side is that I got them all around the same damn time. This poses the problem for me. What to work on and how long to work one it. I could work on my English final, but then I might not get any work done on my Anthropology final. I have to study for history amongst all this mess of writing papers, and to top it all off I still have packing to do before Friday. I know I'm pretty good at multitasking, but still I can't do five or six different things at once.

Well anyway, I'm rambling and should probably get to work so that at least something gets done. Good Day everyone.

Why isn't there anything good on TV anymore.

Seriously, what happened America. Where are the sitcoms, the animated violence, the cool superheroes saving the day.

I'll tell you were they aren't. Television. That's right, I've noticed a decline in the progaming presented to our little boxes, or in some cases screens, and its just obsurd.

Spongebob is the new highlight of the animated world. When back in the good old days the best animated show, and still one of the best in my oppinion was a good old fashioned show called Gargoyles, which I recently learn the producer of said show worked on the second season of W.I.T.C.H< also awesome.

As for sitcoms we have the mind flaying The Office, which is not in the least bit funny, and I find most things humorous. Or their terrifying replacement, Reality TV. It scares me whenerver I walk into the cafateria here at school and all people can talk about is what happened on American Idol, which I care nothing about, or try to play off one of "The Office"'s not so funny jokes.

And now I her 4Shame entertainment, 4Kids if you didn't know, is taking over Kids WB and turning it into the same crap they turned Fox Kids into. Thank god Disney saved Digimon, and Power Rangers. Future generations will always be in their debt. What's next, a 4Kids Toonami, or A 4Kids Cartoonnetwork, would even Nickalodean be safe. They brought us Avatar, FOP, and Danny Phantom people. Even though they only show Spongebob. Will Disney be the only one left standing. I believe nothing has the guts to stand up to them, well except maybe Walmart, or Microsoft.

Do we really need this crap that is on T.V now. And I can hear people already saying that its to stop kids from comiting violence. True, but it also makes them excedingly stupid and niave. Makes them not want to look at the classic or renisance art because there are naked peoples in it. Is that what we want. A society that is so paranoid about the media that everything but Spongebob and crap like it can be on the air. We're going to have a wave of artists that won't draw humans properly, much like most modern artists which will be a rant for another time, because they don't know how in the first place because they can't take the class that teaches them the human form because they have to see naked peoples.

It just annoys me that the good shows, saved once agian by Disney, Gargoyles, W.I.T.C.H, Batman, and Superman are shown at the wee hours of the morning. Not really the time I would want my kids staying up so they can watch decent cartoons, but I would let them stay up to watch them anyway. Give them a real hero to root for instead of a yellow square with holes perferating his body. Sponges in nature aren't square.

Anyway, just needed to vent some frustration with the entertainment biz. Thank you fore reading and Good Day.

Decline of Skill in Gaming.

I've noticed over the first year of my college carrier that there is a rapid decline in games that require high amounts of skill to play. I mostly attribute this to both the Halo Trilogy, good storyline-HORRIBLE ASS GAMES, and to the advent of the Wii.

Long gone are the days in which there could be fun in pitting yourself agianst one solitary opponent, the Computer AI. Now everything is going towards multiplayer, which isn't bad and is the only reason the Fighting Game Genre will never die, but I don't need to play a game of Tenchu Z agianst four other people. Makes the whole point of the game useless.

This is even more evident though in the Halo Trilogy. These games are fun for some, not me and yes I have beaten all of them on Legendary except for three, so don't say its because I suck at them. I don't, that bad at least. Anyway, back to my point is that these games aren't like what they used to be. You get a shield to protect you from bullets. Man a shield would be useful in MOH: Frontiline or MOH: Airborn. I co-oped Rising Sun so I can't count it. But the point is in those games one bullet on the hardest difficulty was enough to Kill You. Not the twenty three or some odd bullets it takes to weaken the opponents shields and then another ten to kill them. Another thing about Halo as well as the rest of First Person Shooters is that they rely too much on the player's luck than the player's actual skill. That's when you get the dumb people who butcher the english language and say that you suck at video games because you happened to lose to them once at Halo. Put them up agianst me at Guilty Gear or Virtual Fighter and they'll be crying to their mommies before the day is through.

The second thing was pointed out to me by another user here on deviantart. That is the Wii. Nice consol, inovative controler, yet lack of stimulating games. None of the games that I've played on my friends' Wiis have been that difficult to do with reletive ease. The Wii has become more of the Casual gamer's consol and will probably make the other consols switch to lean more to that audiance thus leaving skilled gamers and gamers who have spent time honing their skills in the relative dust and eventually leading into perverbial extinction as games become far too easy for them and they flock to other things.

Lastly, I just want to state I'm not really a gamer, but I am an Anime-fan so either way this doesn't affect me, but I enjoy games of skill more than games of luck. Thank You for reading. Have a Nice Day.
